Marcum’s Nursery Celebrates 50 Years of Growing Strong
Goldsby, OK — The Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce was proud to help celebrate a major milestone for one of our community’s most cherished businesses—Marcum’s Nursery. A ribbon cutting was held to mark the nursery’s 50th anniversary, honoring five decades of dedication, growth, and service.
Founded in 1974 by Bill and Cherie Marcum, Marcum’s Nursery has blossomed from a family dream into a thriving garden center known across the region. Today, their sons Monty and Kelly Marcum continue that incredible legacy, with additional family members helping carry the torch into the future.
“Marcum’s has been such an important part of our community,” said Elisabeth Baker, Executive Director of the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce. “From beautiful flowers and trees to landscaping advice and customer service, they’ve helped our community grow—literally and figuratively—for 50 years.”
The anniversary celebration was filled with smiles, stories, and of course, gorgeous plants. Chamber members, loyal customers, and friends gathered to recognize this significant moment and express appreciation for all that Marcum’s has contributed to the Heart of Oklahoma.

Ribbon Cutting Celebration for Mid-America Technology Center’s Newly Remodeled Facilities
Wayne, OK – The Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce had the honor of celebrating the newly remodeled facilities at Mid-America Technology Center in Wayne, Oklahoma with an exciting ribbon-cutting ceremony!
This incredible transformation was made possible by our valued Chamber member, Goldsby Construction, whose outstanding work has brought new life to the facility. It was a fantastic event filled with community spirit, and we couldn’t be more thrilled to support our members in their growth and success!
