2025 Halloween of the heart

The Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of a beloved community tradition: Halloween of the Heart – Treats on the Trail, happening Saturday, November 1, 2025 (day after Halloween), from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the beautiful Purcell Lake Trails.

This free, family-friendly event invites children and families from Purcell and across the Heart of Oklahoma region to dress up, enjoy the crisp fall air, and trick-or-treat along the scenic trail. Local businesses and organizations will line the path, handing out candy, hosting games, and spreading Halloween cheer.

Highlights of the event include:

• Free inflatables for the kids thanks to the support of our generous sponsors
• Candy, and themed games along the trail
• Community partners and businesses dressed up and joining in the fun
• A safe and festive environment for thousands of visitors from Purcell and surrounding towns

Following the trail event, families are encouraged to continue the celebration with door-to-door trick-or-treating in Purcell, keeping the Halloween fun going well into the evening.

“This event has become a fall favorite where families come together and local businesses get to connect with the community in a fun way,” said Elisabeth Baker, Executive Director of the Heart of Oklahoma Chamber of Commerce. “We can’t wait to see everyone’s costumes and celebrate another year of this tradition at Purcell Lake.”
